Three domains. One discipline.

Every engagement draws from one or more of three interconnected design domains. They are not service lines. They are a methodology.

Finance & Operating Model Design

Most operating models were not designed. They accumulated. Layers of process, headcount, and technology added over time to solve yesterday’s problems. The result is an organization that can’t see itself clearly and can’t move quickly.

We start by mapping the operating model to its financial outcomes—function by function, activity by activity. Where value is created, where it leaks, and where designed systems can replace legacy effort. The output is a prioritized transformation roadmap with real ROI calculations, not generic recommendations.

The methodology
OpportunityMapper™ is our proprietary diagnostic tool. It maps 1,200+ organizational activities across 10 functional domains to financial outcomes. Deployed in two to three weeks. Used across manufacturing, private equity portfolios, healthcare, and professional services engagements.
What we design
Operating model architecture · Financial baseline and ROI analysis · Activity-level workflow redesign · Organizational structure recommendations · Prioritized transformation roadmap · Governance and oversight design
Integration Design

Integration failures are rarely technical. They are architectural. Systems are connected before the operating model is designed. Synergies are identified before the organization is understood. Day 1 arrives before anyone has agreed on what Day 1 means.

We design integration from the operating model outward. Integration Engine™ is our structured approach to designing system, process, and organizational integration across acquisitions, carve-outs, and enterprise transformations. AMP™ provides the PMO infrastructure to track and capture synergies from announcement through stabilization.

The methodology
Integration Engine™ structures the integration architecture before Day 1. AMP™ (AI M&A PMO) tracks workstreams, synergy capture, and Day 1 readiness in real time—with risk flagging built in. Used on acquisitions and carve-outs across manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services.
What we design
Integration operating model · Day 1 readiness framework · Synergy identification and capture tracking · Workstream architecture and accountability structure · Risk identification and escalation design · System integration sequencing
AI Operating Architecture

AI doesn’t transform organizations. Operating systems built around AI do. Most AI programs stall not because the technology fails, but because the organization around it was never redesigned. Pilots succeed. Systems don’t get built.

We design the architecture that makes AI operational: agent workflows, governance structures, human-in-loop design, organizational readiness, and the operating model changes required to sustain AI at scale. We work from the operating model inward, not from the technology outward.

What we design
Agent workflow architecture · Human-in-loop design · AI governance and risk controls · Operating model redesign around AI · Organizational readiness assessment · Change management and enablement design · A2A (agent-to-agent) workflow design
The approach
Every AI operating architecture engagement starts with the operating model, not the technology stack. We identify where AI creates genuine operating advantage, design the system around it, and build the governance required to sustain it. Reference materials include our Operations Guide and documented A2A design patterns.
